I have been trying to extend wifi from one building to another one located up a steep slope of solid rock a couple of hundred feet away for a long time (In a rural mountain range) Bought this device and followed the easy to use instructions to sync with my router via WPS. Easy. Then I moved the device to the next building, first trying an outdoor outlet, then moving to an indoor outlet that faced the router downhill. Success! I got a green light and 3-4 bars of wifi connectivity on a Sony Blueray DVD/ streaming device (about 5 years old). Network connected to the EXT2G and used the same password from the router setup. I was streaming Netflix perfectly! And listening to Pandora as I walked from one building to another (even though I have absolutely no cell phone service at all), wifi connectivity to my Iphone was perfect.Could not have been easier to set up.I noticed the router signal went red during a rain storm so I just ran the setup again. No problem.I did try to connnect a 3rd building downhill from from my router but was not successful. This was about 600 ft and the router was not able to be moved to give a more direct signal.

I was having a hard time getting internet into an extension of the house. I am not bad with technology but definitely not an expert. This was very pretty easy to set up and now I my signals are strong everywhere. Very happy with this purchase. This product is pretty easy to configure and works extremely great. We were able to connect to the neighbors wifi (with their permission) and their password to their router which is required. Now we are able to share the internet connection with the neighbor and it works really great.

Used this to extend the range of a Comcast wireless router. Setup is easy but it assumes your internal network is using 192. Some may need to go in and do some extra configuration for it to work on their network.

Very good extension of my computer and TV signals to distant rooms in a big house. My one caveat is that, when I got a new modem and router it was difficult to reset the EX2700 properly and I had to hire a technician.

works perfectly and so easy to set up.... now that distant spot in house is covered by wi fi. Note, wi fi a bit slower through this system. But i am still streaming videos with it so I consider it a 5 star item.

I bought the $300 nighthawk wifi ROUTER and it didnt do me any good. The internet speed was equal in performance to my comcast router. Until I cam across this NetGear AC750 wifi range extender. I noticed the biggest difference when I used the internet on my iphone. my emails downloaded way faster. My emails dont even download this fast even when Im standing next to my comcast router. I honestly dont know what more this extender does other than extend but it has really amped up my internet speed. I checked the speed on speednet and the results showed that the internet speed was faster on the router wifi compared the extender wifi. But at the end of the day, despite what speednet said, the wifi extenders internet speed was just faster when it came to downloading emails and surfing the web on my phone. I actually purchased two for my home but in reality, I only needed one. The extender was so great, it almost completely covered the whole house. So I only needed one. It was so great, I suggested it to my brother and even he noticed a difference. $30 for wifi extender vs $300 for nighthawk, Id rather pay the $30 any day

Good signal strength. Great range. Simple set-up. Piced right. I have nothing but praise.Wow! This one is it! Getting great fast 5G coverage anywhere in the house.

Im giving it 5-stars even though one-touch setup didnt work for me. You are supposed to be able to do push the center button on this extender and another on the router and it will resolve the wifi connection for you. After about 2 weeks, my 1 year old stopped being fascinated with the blue color and has left it alone. A simple unplug and plug back in resolved the issue. Pretty minor problem really.
