> 3 dayInstalled in bottom of line HP S01-pf1013w Slim desktop to replace HDD. Card physical installation is very easy, however the motherboard on this model did not come with a retaining screw needed to fasten the ssd card to the motherboard. The WD ssd does not ship with a screw because they are supposed to be on the motherboard. Using the Acronis True Image free software download to finish the installation is helpful. Before adding the ssd the boot time was extremely slow. I added additional memory before installing the ssd and it helped some, but with the addition of the ssd the improvement was remarkable. Boot up and windows opening is nearly instantaneous. Very pleased.

> 3 dayMy CPU only supports gen. 3 PCIe so a gen. 4 was not needed. After a month or so of use, this unit continues to function very well. It is fast to load the OS and applications. No complaints.

> 3 dayIts working fine, been using it for a month. Super fast, easy to install, and really fast. Great value for the price. Perfect for people who want to store a bunch of stuff but not looking into building a media library, otherwise youre better off with 2tbs or more.

> 3 dayI thought for sure a WD blue or black drive would be perfectly fine and trustworthy to have a dram cache. Not only is this drive dram cashless, but the 500gb model only has 1 single nand chip on it. I will be sure to not blindly trust a company based on past performances. Seems ever since they purchased SanDisk... Things have gone downhill somewhat. Drive tested well enough when mostly empty, but cant even imagine how poorly it would be once it fills up more. Makes this no different than a cheap name drive.
