Si bien no es el disco ultrarrápido que muchos requieren para tareas super demandantes de transferencia de datos, es lo suficientemente rápido incluso para instalar sobre éste SSD el sistema operativo, garantizando un rendimiento adecuado para tu pc.

I couldnt get my PC to post after installing this on my 3-year old ASUS Prime X570 Pro motherboard until after I updated the BIOS. Now it works perfectly.

Drive is ok, it works. But the most annoying thing you need special WD software (windows only) to update the drive firmware. Linux already has standard open source nvme cli tool which is capable of updating the firmware, but WD does not make those FW files available for download. I contacted support and they were empathetic but useless.

Functions as promised! Gen4 drives are not necessary unless you explicitly need them.

Plug and play as expected. Used with new laptop for more and faster storage .

SSD would not install windows on my pc, gave it to a buddy for him to install instead and it fried 2 of his RAM. literally could not get it to work
