I wanted to purchase a NVMe SSD to create a clone of the (256Gb) NVMe SSD in my PC for potential use if a failure occurs. Ive purchased Western Digital SSDs in the past and have no problems to date with them. I settled on this item because the price was excellent compared to similar items. It was delivered on time and worked exactly as expected the first time. I purchased a new USB 3.2 NVMe SSD enclosure to install it in to create the clone and have had no issues so far.

I had to return it because I got one locally before it arrived, but the drive is legit, not a fake. And they do reach quite close to the read and write speeds they claim (within 300mbps)

The Samsung 980 NvMe drive in my PC became unreliable. I bought this one to get the PC back in service without waiting for Samsung to replace the 980. It seems to perform as well as the 980. Note Samsung did in fact replace the 980 (the warranty is years long). The 980 will become an external USB drive.

This is a great budget option to install as your boot drive. But do not let that budget impression fool you, this drive holds true to its 3,500 MB/s read and write speed. However, if you are writing large files the speed will drop in the 2500-2800 MB/s speeds which is still pretty decent.
