My first nvme ssd is this WD 2TB , real cool , installed this on my Alienware Area 51m R1, works like a charm for personal storage , family photos and games load real fast. Loads Starcraft 2 much faster than when installed on an hdd on that laptop. Will purchase more in the future.

With NVME SSDs nowadays the baseline performance is so good that its price to performance is so much better than if you go top performance you will pay so much more that its not really necessary for most builds.

You have to jump through all sorts of hoops using the included clone software if you are using a USB enclosure. Need a 3 bay laptop to get the software to work. Extremely complicated and contorted work around. WD has to know that most people use USB enclosures to clone drives for laptops. So why is there no Acronis software that works directly with a USB?
