Easy to install. Performs well.

Installed in my laptop, then placed the old drive in a drive case, then used Western Digital Adonis from their website to transfer a drive image across to the new drive. Everything went without a hitch. Drive is easy to install and fast. No drive issues so far (about one month since installation).

Tried using wd dashboard even that couldn’t find it.

Windows boots in 7 secs from POST screen. I saw a very high significant speed improvement from ssd boot times. This is much better than P2 Crucial equivalent for value and WD service center is more easily available too in my city (Chennai)

Fast and good value

My husband has many computers and computer components as his works requires lots of computer work. I knew he’d want this when I saw it. He said he was happy to see that Western Digital updated their SN500 line to have higher performance while still being affordable. This one replaced a three year old 250GB M.2 2280 made by a company widely known for their high-end SSDs. Going off of the published numbers, this one is slightly slower but the same Bonnie++ benchmark run on both of them gives nearly identical performance. Smartmontools shows that it runs several degrees cooler and that may be because this one has only one large chip as compared to the older one. Obviously, I wont be able to comment on its longevity for several months but it slogged through a 24-hour burn-in benchmark without any errors and has worked flawlessly since my husband first powered it on and he’s been extremely happy with it. Highly recommend!

The Western Digital 1TB WD Blue SN550 I bought from you ignited and burned down, causing my laptop to break down. I want to be compensated for all this, I want to receive the ssd I bought from you as well as the cost of repairing my laptop computer, but I do not know the cost of repairing the laptop computer yet. I think I should get a refund from ssd first.
