Greater than one weekBought this memory because of the price and brand. This is the cheapest nvme memory that you can find that gives you the reliability of a big BRAND. Of course it is not the fastest memory out there but i was able to reach about 2500/read and 1500/write. I mean it is not bad at all. Of course my computer now is lightning fast and it gave to my sistem a really good perfomance improvement. If you are looking a memory that will impress you and your friends with the perfomance, this is not the one. But overall i think this is the best price/quality ratio that you can find right now on amazon.

15-11-2024I didnt know this type of hard drive existed until mine went kaput. After reading a bunch of reviews, this one looked like a good value and performance for the money. After installing and using it for my work PC (heavy graphic design and development) I can say it passed the test. Glad I bought it.

Greater than one weekI ended up returning the item and will try to get it again as I may be an outlier but the read/write speeds were around 350 mb/s read, 300 mb/s write for me

> 3 dayIn my honest opinion I felt like the Samsung Evo Pro SSD booted up much faster than this but in a sense I feel like this is more reliable I dont know how to explain I dont run programs off of it just the operating system but just my two sense. Still would go with this over the SSD, time will tell.

> 3 dayWorks fine in a 2014 Macbook Air with a adapter. Clean installed Catalina from a USB. Needs to be formatted prior to MacOS installation.

> 3 dayThe difference between a standard SSD and an m.2 NVME is pretty noticeable especially if it’s your boot drive! Hardly cost much more than a standard 2.5” SSD so spend a couple more bucks for easier cable

> 3 dayI really like WDs products and have found them to be very reliable so I bought one of their SN550 Blue M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs which I knew would give a hugely significant performance boost (see images for comparison: before and after) as before I had a 1TB WD HDD which came with my Dell Inspiron 5570. The storage capacity (250GB) of this new SSD is perfect for my needs as I dont store any of my personal data on it (it is purely for the operating system and programs alone). I use the original 1TB WD HDD that came with my laptop for all of my personal data as it has a 2.5 HDD bay and also an M.2 slot so I can have dual drives. You can opt for a bigger version of this model such as 500GB or 1TB if you require more space.

> 3 dayIts very fast and responsive. While Im not doing any gaming on my PC, this M.2 SSD makes the computer feel very quick as it can load software nearly instantly. Very good!
