Acquistato per essere inserito in un notebook Dell. Dopo ore di ricerche, recensioni e comparative ho deciso di prenderlo ed effettivamente la resa è notevole. Installato accanto ad un hard disk da 1 Tb, ho trasferito il sistema operativo (WD fornisce sul sito anche un software adatto allo scopo) su di lui ed il portatile si è trasformato, soprattutto nelle fasi di accensione e spegnimento, ma anche nelluso quotidiano la differenza si vede. Avevo perplessità sul calore sviluppato dallhard disk, soprattutto a causa degli spazi ristretti e della scarsa circolazione di aria in un notebook. Sono rimasto felicemente sorpreso, anche con carichi di lavoro pesanti lhard disk si mantiene lontano da temperature critiche.

I upgraded the SSD on my Dell XPS 12 9360 with the 250GB and it works great. No problem with installation and drive is much faster than my old SATA SSD.

Great product to improve hard drive storage. This was used for gaming laptop thats also used for audio and visual editing. Improved boot up and start up time, excessive storage to manage multiple applications.

This works great for my sons gaming computer.

I was lucky to have purchased this drive last year when it still used good TLC NAND, now the design has changed to either a few lower bin of TLC NAND or even QLC NAND. Due to this where in the past when the SLC cache was filled, the drive would drop to a write speed of around 800-900MB/s. With the recent redesign, the write speed after the SLC cache runs out is around 300-400MB/s. The SLC cache cache is around 6GB of the 500GB model and 12GB on the 1TB model

Well, it all works fine thus far but I will hold off on the full review until I have used my new system for a bit as all the components for the new build will be tied together. Delivery was spot on as it usually is with Amazon. There are rare occasions but as I have said they are rare.

It was wonderful experience for me after experiencing great performance of my laptop after installing this product.

To be honest, this is a really good buy. Performs as advertised, super speedy in Windows 10. Anything M.2 should perform considerably well for gaming as it is faster than most SATA-based SSDs (which are still amazing) and lightning faster than HDDs. The only downside is...well, Linux is not able to read it. This will be a deal breaker for any Linux-only people until a kernel is released with built-in support. Admittingly, at the time of writing this, I havent found a driver yet to try. Ill update once I get around to it.
