I needed a very quiet drive for my new voice over acting studio. I now have two of these 2TB drives. I use one for Time Machine and one for my business files. They make no noise and seem very fast for access.

i have never seen a windows machine boot so fast. even installing w10 from a usb thumbdrive was amazingly quick. I now need to find a solution to replacing all other ssd to these.

good ssd for the price

These drives are very quick, yet have a pretty price tag. But after paying two day shipping and having to wait over a week to find out I received only one is very irritating. But props to their customer service for shipping me a new one. Hopefully it won’t be missing!

OK, so at the price I paid for this (£176 in Aug 2021) it was a good value SSD with respectable performance.

Win 10 is now opening in 5 seconds and everything becomes very fast. Since this laptop does not have a good harddisk it will always act as a bottleneck. But when I installed SSD and install windows 10 / games and software in it. It became too fast.

Ich brauchte eine größere Festplatte, da meine Systempartition mit 120 GB SSD (SATA) aus allen Nähten zu platzen drohte. Ferner hatte ich schon lange darauf spekuliert mein System auf eine M.2 SSD umzustellen um schnellere Lade- und Bootvorgänge zu erreichen. Trotz einiger Probleme, die nichts mit der SSD selbst zu tun hatten, habe ich jetzt mein Windows auf diese SSD übertragen und bin sehr glücklich! Das System startet deutlich schneller, viele Programmstarts erfolgen fast augenblicklich. Ferner habe ich jetzt so viel Platz auf der Systempartition, dass ich mir für längere Zeit keine Gedanken mehr machen muss, was ich behalte und was ich besser lösche. Das war die beste Investition seit langem in den PC, und sie war nicht gerade kostspielig mit rd. € 50,-
