A worthy upgrade, keeps the pc running like sonic the hedgehog

Got this drive installed and Windows installed and I am now getting close to the speed specs after having to change a couple things. Please read my tips, it may help you and save some frustration and even maybe save you from returning it. To get that max speeds this needs to be installed in a PCIe 4.0 compatible motherboard with a PCIe 4.0 compatible CPU. I am using this in an Asus X570 Tuf Gaming Plus with a Ryzen 3900X. This also needs to be installed in the M.2 slot closest to the CPU which has a direct connection to the CPU, I initially had it in the bottom slot below the PCIe slots and that one is connected to the chipset which is slower, I was getting like half the write speeds at first until I switched it. You also need to download and install the WD SSD Dashboard so you can enable the Gaming Mode, otherwise again, speeds wont be as fast. After those couple things, I am now getting close to advertised speeds and I am happy. I will update my review if anything changes down the road.

Quick easily installation in my PS5, I was lead to believe the item came with a heat sink as the majority of this range do, unfortunately it did not so I had to purchase one separately.

Marca qué se alcanza velocidades de 7000 mbs pero en la laptop solo llega hasta 3400. Revise configuraciones y son las óptimas pero revisando son Gen 3. También compre el WD blue y ese si llega a 3500 como lo marca en su publicidad. No recomiendo este m2 si es para una laptop con PCIe Gen 3. Compre de otra categoría como el blue o green qué les dará la misma velocidad por un precio mucho menor

I have Macbook Pro A1502 & Macbook Air A1466. Previously, I needed to upgrade the SSD in Macbook Air A1466. So, I ordered WD SN550 SSD (500 GB) for MacBook Air A1466 from Amazon, which was superb and I liked that SSD very much.

Bastante veloz, una que otra vez merma en cuanto a rendimiento pero no le pongo objeción porque no es algo que me moleste por la velocidad que lleva, no sabría decir si la calidad precio es correcta debido a que lo compré en oferta pero estoy contento con la compra. Recomendado para aquellos que se dedican a animación y edición de video.
