WD 4TB Gaming Drive works with Playstation 4 Portable External Hard Drive - WDBM1M0040BBK-WESN

This is the 3rd WD My Passport external hard drive to fail on me without any warning. I alternate between 2 hard drives and use it to back up my computer at work and it just keeps crashing. My IT person likes this brand because he believes its a reputable brand; however, I disagree. After sinking hundreds of dollars to keep replacing the previous one that had crashed, Ive switched to a different brand.

We have used this for 2 months and now none of the ps4s weve tried to hook it up to will recognize it. It barely lasted the 2 months and the return window closed on August 8th. Dont waste your money.

So far the Hard Drive is worth the money. Easy to use and has plenty of storage.

Bought two for kids XBox One. Works perfectly. Compact size, black finish matches well with their existing components. Good buy for memory capacity.

Everything is great with this except the fact that it will brick your ps4 within a few weeks. DO NOT BUY IT.

So, I wanted an external HD for my PS4 for a while. after a lot of research I went for this little 4TB beauty. Enough storage for 40-50 games. So simple to use because its pre-formatted for the PS. It took only a few minutes to unpack, connect and start storing games. The price was very competitive also. Im no rocket scientist but I am smarter than a monkey. If youre looking for portable storage thats reliable, compact and easy to use this is the one.
