WD 4TB Gaming Drive works with Playstation 4 Portable External Hard Drive - WDBM1M0040BBK-WESN

I used this product for the intended use, play games on my PS4, I treated this HDD like a son, It never got a scratch or anything, but one day, out of the blue, It just stopped working. All games I had loaded and all the time I had spent loading them, WASTED.

I love this product and can’t recommend it enough. I was struggling storage on my Ps4 with only 500 gb but this helped me increase my storage by 2 tb and helped me have more then enough space. It literally took 1 minute to add on my ps4. If you want storage and are struggling this is well worth it.

Works great! My consoles seem to enjoy dying on me, and taking all my story progress with them. I finally bought one of these and started using it. What a life saver! My PS4 is very fragile to power outages which seems to happen a lot where I live. This hard drive has saved my progress dozens of times!

You got storage problems for your device. This is the problem solver. I got this bad boy. I hooked it up it automatically read it and we was good to go.

Very simple to install on the PS4. Does not take up space at all.

Works flawlessly with the playstation 4 original and the ps4 pro. Ive had no problem with data corruption and I was able to transfer all my games over to this device. The one thing I would warn people about is when you leave your ps4 on rest mode, and something happens where power is disconnected, then when starting up, the database has to rebuild itself and it seems like maybe thats how the data can be corrupted so I would try to stay away from leaving your ps4 on rest mode during a storm or something.

Stopped working after less than two years of occasional gaming. The PS4 wont even let me format it, and it is undetectable by PCs.

I am using it plugged into my ps4 pro. Ive got tons of space now! I hear this is supposed to be faster than a non-gaming external drive. I dont notice a huge increase over the 1tb external I was using before. It is a good drive. It works great. I like it and do suggest it.
