Ive used Virbac products before with success (shampoos and sprays). This one didnt seem to help much, but it made for a nice, soft coat

My dog is usually very itchy. We have been working to figure out what is making her itch so bad. However, in the meantime we give her a bath at least once a week to help her not itch as bad. This really seems to work better than the stuff you buy at Petsmart. She doesnt itch quite as bad when I use it for about 4-5 after.

Ive used this product for my dog for a couple years. She is allergic to human dander and needs the cream rinse to soothe her skin after her weekly bath. My vet usually has the product, but last time they were out of stock. I ordered it on Amazon. It smells totally different and the color was wrong. I dont know if the manufacturer made changes to the formula or if I bought a fake. It smells so perfumed that Im actually afraid to use it on my dog. Im using it on my other dog, so I gave it two stars instead of none. If this was the same as the Episoothe cream rinse my vet had provided in the past then would earn five stars.

There are no words that accurately describe the severity of my dogs dry skin. Unfortunately this product makes my dogs skin turn bright red immediately after application and within several hours his skin looks much worse than it did before, if thats even humanly possible. Granted, my dog is a very unusual case. Most dogs with skin problems produce too much oil on their skin, but my dogs skin doesnt produce any oil at all. Ive tried some shampoos from virbac as well. Keratolux, Pyoben, and Etiderm were all useless and made my dogs skin worse. Allergroom was actually a decent product. I wish I could find something better but for now I havent found anything else I can even use on his sensitive skin.

I use this product for two reasons-When bathing my pups, I use Johnsons baby shampoo as their first wash,(conserves on the use of the Epi product since it is alittle expensive) and then I use the Epi Smooth Shampoo because it is soothing and has a soothing smell. Gives my dogs a great shine and along with the creme rinse, they look and smell fantastic.

I have only used this conditioner once, and I shall not use it again. After shampooing my dog with her usual shampoo I tried Epi-soothe and my dog is by no means soothed. Initially she was vomiting and fatigued. She has since developed a dry itchy rash all around her face and on her front legs. The Epi-Soothe has caused her eyelids to swell up and secrete some sort of mucous. She is intensely itchy and seemingly nothing can ease the pain she is enduring. Seemingly, the active ingredient causing the allergic response is DMDM hydantoin. This agent causes contact dermatitis in humans and animals and is the leading cause of skin allergies brought on by cosmetics. Excessive usage is known to cause cancer in animals and weaken the immune system. As a general warning, if you have an allergy prone dog your best option is to stay far away from this product. I would not wish for your dog to suffer the same misery that Epi-Soothe has inflicted on my dog.

I have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi/Australian Shepherd mix I adopted from the SPCA to find that he has severe skin allergies and if left to himself, he keeps gnawing until hes bloody and hairless. So, at the suggestion of some of my dog-owning friends, I bought this and the Epi-Soothe shampoo. Unfortunately, it only seems to help for maybe a day, sometimes less. He hates baths and is beginning to hate them more and more with me giving them to him daily. Its not the only treatment hes getting for the skin allergies, but I was hoping it would help more than it is.

It plays havoc with my allergies and Im sure my dog doesnt appreciate smelling so strong of perfume.
