ViewSonic 3800 Lumens SVGA High Brightness Projector for Home and Office with HDMI Vertical Keystone (PA503S)

Presentations, Power Point. Purchased this unit based on the reports published by Amazon, I am not disappointed. But I have this unit for a short time.

I bought and off brand piece of Chinese junk that said it was 6200 lumens... what a joke. This Viewsonic said it was about half that much and is at least 6 times brighter. I have a big window and it was impossible to watch a movie until after full darkness with the other one, but this one I can watch movies all day long (now I need a big popcorn machine). I cant say how great this machine is and easy to use. It took me about 10 seconds after I mounted it on the ceiling to get the screen flipped and everything adjusted without ever opening the manual. It is simply a great product for my home theater setup. I use the PC connection and do not use audio from the device. The fan is really quite, and it does blow a little warm air, but not too much. I definitely recommend this product as it is an incredible value and is super bright!

Just purchases and as always Amazon delivers on time. However, projector has no instructions. I cant figure out how to advance pages when in presentation mode and there are no online videos that explain. No customer service number or anything. All appears well with everything else. I gave 2 stars due to lack of support

I use this with a Firestick and a digital tuner. For audio I use a JBL speaker hooked up with a 3.5mm audo cord. Very very pleased with picture brightness and quality. At night I can use it with a 2 sided screen so you can watch from pool or covered lanai, for day time use I have a black pvc backed screen. This has exceeded my expectations

It’s a pretty excellent video projector for the money!

Bright, high contrast. Not the full high def, but I bought a cheaper projector with better specs to compare, I also bought an expensive HD projector...while the really expensive unit did look nice...its hard to justify 4x the cost. Bright & high contrast is what you want. The BS cheap imports with 6000 lumens and HD really just look like crap. Projected onto the garage door, side of the house, inflatable screen or rear projection - does a fantastic job.

This is a great buy for family movie nights outside. we were able to start the movie before the sun went down and we still saw the picture very well.

We had a ViewSonic before this one, and it lasted nine years, during which we watched at least a move twice a week, and I also surfed to watch a lot of YouTube videos. We loved our old ViewSonic, and we love this new one, too. The colors on the projection screen are crisp, luminous and warm at the same time. My husband got it out of the box and between the moment he called up to me to ask how about a movie and my finishing up whatever I was doing and walking down to join him, he had the machine out of the box and hooked up. It was that easy. We use a laptop with a DVD player in it to play movies. The only thing left to do now is to unscrew the old one and put the new one on the ceiling bracket. We also hooked up the external sound system in no time. I want to mention that we tried several LED lighted projectors of different price ranges before coming back to buy this one, as we hoped LED would be a more energy friendly choice. Turns out the colors on the LED lit ones were horribly cold, mostly in the blue/black range and also all of them had terribly loud fans systems on them, both criteria on which we dont want to make concessions. We like to hear the soundtrack without straining our ears to filter out the noise of the cooling system. This ViewSonic is quiet and I cannot say enough of its awesome colors. We both are very pleased with our new projector and look forward to years of entertainment. If you like my review and found it helpful, thanks for letting me know!

I got this product today to use at my daycare and preschool parent functions to show slide shows. I was a little skeptical as I will have lots of light in the room. It worked beautifully in a lighted room. I know we will be happy with it for many programs.
