This is a great desktop scanner at a good price. Quite easy to program and use. I own other police scanners and this one has the best sound quality.

I liked everything about the scanner - like tone ,selectivity ,uniden got all of the things in common in one sector . I think I am a genius ( my girlfriend thinks i am a genius) , but I still havent learned the skills of programming it yet . Ive watched videos , read the instructions and I feel like I am unlearned and experimented with it -but to no avail .I would recommend this to my friends .

The stock antenna is on the left. The after market antenna on the right increased my reception big time. It just wobbles from side to side. Lean it to the window. This scanner blows my old Radio Shack scanner away. Picks up more channels. Bettet squelch. More banks. More pre programed frequency.Outstanding unit!!!

Not very sensitive to frequencies like my other scanners. Hard to figure out. They just threw it in a bag to ship it, and the box was all crushed. Was going to buy them for the whole family, but was too disappointed.

So far so good- I got this today and set it up with the local EMS / Weather and programmed in my favorite FM radio stations. Two things that really impressed me was the signal strength- for an antenna thats smaller than most car antennae, this picks up way more than my car ever did. The second thing is the speaker. WOW- this little guy can put out some serious sound. I only have it turned halfway up and I can hear it throughout the entire house. Headphone jack for if you want to plug it up to something larger. The back-light is very nice, and the little things like sleep after 60 minutes, lock out scanning, the 500 (!!) banks of memory to store frequencies, and the auto-EMS/Fire/Weather/Air/Marine/Police scanner function is really cool too if you are unsure of your local codes. This has all the features you want out of a nice scanner for under a hundred bucks. Ive always like Uniden (they made good quality house phones and other electronics) This is of the same type of high quality- the buttons, knobs, everything seem very sturdy. This may be the last scanner I ever need!

Got this little scanner for my father-in-law who is 86. He wanted something to hear whats going on in his valley. Sensitivity seems to be ok. Easy to program if you have just a few frequencies. I programmed it for him and the lack of a whole lot of confusing knobs and switches is a plus for older folks. He just has to use the squelch and volume controls so he is good with that. Volume and sound quality are good, scanning speed is fast. Keep in mind that this is an analog only scanner so if your services use digital, youre out of luck. So far, we are pleased with this scanner.

My wife wanted a scanner and she saw this one online and wanted to purchase it. I thought for the price why not.... I think its a good scanner for its price point. She likes to keep in the know by listening to it and I think it keeps her entertained when shes home alone. I think its certainly worth what we paid for it.

The BC365CRS is a multi-featured conventional channel scanner. Easily enter and store frequencies for police, fire/emergency, marine, air and more into 500 channels over ten banks. The scanner also features AM/FM clock radio with snooze and NOAA weather broadcasts. Receives conventional channels on the following frequencies: AM Broadcast (530-1700 KHz) (25-54 MHz) FM Broadcast (88-108 MHz) (108-174 MHz) (225-380 MHz) (406-512 MHz). In scanner mode press to start a limit search or to resume searching. In service select mode press to select police service. In fm mode, press to select the fm1 from memory bank. Note-if scanner receives interference or electrical noise move the scanner or its antenna away from the source. Recommend changing the height or angle of the antennas. Avoid placing the scanner in direct sunlight or near heating elements or vents
