> 24 hourIt is easy enough to locate the local frequencies which you may want to cover. I do not usually read user guides, but I followed this one closely. I consider myself tech savvy, but this was difficult to set up and is still not fully set up. We want this functionality but are not getting good use of the device because the setup information is so poorly informative. It stays off all the time. Setup is on my to-do list, but its been several weeks.

> 24 hourThe stock antenna is on the left. The after market antenna on the right increased my reception big time. It just wobbles from side to side. Lean it to the window. This scanner blows my old Radio Shack scanner away. Picks up more channels. Bettet squelch. More banks. More pre programed frequency.Outstanding unit!!!

> 24 hourPurchased this scannner out of Amazon warehouse at a reduced price. Didnt really have high expectations. Upon arrival it appeared to be brandnew. Even though the original packaging was missing. All external parts were carefully packed in ziplock bags. After programming I plugged unit in and also installed a 50foot external antenna as well for better reception. Upon calibration for maximum rception im picking up depts over 150miles away.

> 24 hourThe unit should of had the existing programming deleted and put back to factory setting!

> 24 hourDirect tuning should be more obvious and intuitive. Punching the numbers for a frequency does not tune to that one. Perhaps I am missing something.
