Live in Florida and was paying $1 per month for N ew York EZ pass. This replaces the EZPass without the monthly fee. Two things that could be improved: 1.device is held on windshield using suction cups that tend to release after two weeks in the hot Sun. Would prefer to see Velcro like material. 2. Stores only one license plate. If you change cars you should update data base with the correct license numbrt

I dont own a car. I live in Florida and rely on rentals. I got this thing to save money on toll passes charged by rental companies. Theres one key consideration that is not advertised anywhere. Your ePass unit needs to be paired with AT LEAST ONE license plate at all times. You cannot just remove a car from your ePass account. You can only add (while activating) or replace (anytime later). This is important because when youre done with your rental you may not have a car of your own to put on your ePass account. I use my friends license plate who lives in CA and will never drive East, so thats a work around. Also, toll charges can take up to 3 days to get posted to your account. Theyre not real time. Theres some great savings if you travel a lot, you can get 50% Cashback if you pay like 40+ tolls per month. I highly recommend this device if you can navigate all the above.

I specifically called to the customer service to make sure everything is working, and then, I went through the cash toll lane to make sure that the unit works as there was a sign that the unit should work in any lane, including the cash lanes. Well, I went through the same bridge 3 more times, nothing happened, i had to pay cash every time since the unit wouldnt register. The second agent kept saying that I just had to go through sun-pass lanes and everything would be fine. What? I would pay a fine for violating the toll since the unit did not work in the cash lane. Than the agent hanged up i guess because the phone just went silent. The third agent suggested to go to orlando, 5 hours away, to check the unit and said shell send me a sticker. Well, i wanted something that I could put in any car, I guess not. Theres no instructions on utube or any viable help. Thank you very much for not saving money but creating hustle and wasting time. Shouldve just bought the sunpass sticker.

You need a FL Drivers License number and Address to activate the account. I got lucky and have a Son that lives there that supplied the needed info. Easy to preload and set to auto reload on the E-pass app. Works in all Easy-Pass lanes Ive come through and I only needed to slow down until the light turns green at the booth and then mash the accelerator. When my prepaid balance gets low, the app automatically reloads another $15 and bills my debit card. I have these in my truck and car both.

The delivery from Amazon was great, the experience in getting the transponder subscription not so good, bought this for an upcoming trip to Chicago, needed to get the subscription started and the unit released. Went online put in all information and my submission was rejected, said my license plate number was invalid, not true! Had to call the next day and give all of my info over the phone, took 20 minutes. they did send me a receipt though showing that I had paid up front. We will see how it works?

I just got the black one today. Its was super easy to set up a new E-PASS account and to load it with the initial funds to start using. I will be driving from Ohio to Florida. Ive heard that the transponder does not always work, but I will update this review as soon as I get to Florida. On the flip side, the transponder number that they are looking for is the one on the underside of the device, not the ones on the white stickers. Also, I took off the suction cups and I am using small velcro strips that I had from a transponder that I was using at my local airport.

I originally bought a SunPass sticker from the store and it turned out to be neon green and looked hideous on my car. I threw it away immediately and ordered one of these. Its hardly noticeable and I havent had any issues with it so far.

My wife and I were moving from Michigan to Massachusetts. The drive was made much easier with this EZ Pass. We were able to hit the EZ Pass lanes and when the first toll booth we hit said EZ Pass Accepted my wife and I were real surprised how easy it really was. The set up online is simple as well. Would highly recommend.
