18-11-2024This is one of my more favorite teas, but English teas tend to be pricey in Texas. I appreciate the price point on this.

Greater than one weekHave purchased twice and each time it’s been good. Had one package of tea that seemed a weaker when brewed but that could be due to anything. Overall I am happy to have found this on Amazon, especially during quarantine.

> 3 dayA quality tea, much nicer than what you can normally get in stores here. Compared to PG Tips or Yorkshire Gold, those two are honestly a little better, but the sheer amount of tea you get for the price with the Typhoo is much better bang for the buck. Plus, the individually-wrapped packages within each box are super convenient for making sure your tea doesnt get stale prematurely the way the larger boxes of PG Tips do.

> 3 dayI am a tea enthusiast and have tried thousands of teas. Coffee gives me headaches so I have a strong cup of black tea each morning. These tea bags brew a strong cup of tea even in my 20oz mugs - much stronger than a usual tea bag. I think the flavor is good and the price is great so I have no doubt I will be buying more. It is also great for making kombucha, my scobys seem to like it a lot.

Greater than one weekI have been a devoted Typhoo tea drinker since the early 1980s when a Yorkshireman introduced me to it. I love a strong brew & Typhoo & the extra-strong Typhoo that comes in a black box are irreplaceable in my opinion. The tea has a pleasing taste, far more flavorful than any run of the mill American brands. So glad Amazon came into being as I used to have to go to British import shops, all of which closed during the pandemic.

> 3 dayI saw a clip where Paul McCartney was talking about his early years and how he and John would smoke Typhoo tea...of course nothing happened...but they were young and not able to buy weed. The story was just interesting enough for me to see if Typhoo was still around, and they sure are. Typhoo is a great everyday breakfast tea. Its not woody at all, and there is a hint of sweetness...just a hint...just right. easily drinkable on its own. Its packaging is the best. 40 ROUND tea bags with NO strings make this a brewers dream. Each 40 bags are encapsulated by an airtight thin foil package...so long term storage should not be an issue. I always keep two large boxes (almost 1000 bags) of Typhoo in my pantry as emergency backup. The price is right...the taste is very good...and storing it long term is easy. But dont smoke it...
