> 3 dayOMG!!! Discovered this while visiting a friend for a few days and was thrilled to use it every day in her kitchen and couldnt wait to get one for myself. So far (2 months) no downsides except the box scoots some on the counter as the plastic wrap supply weighs less with use. Its so easy and fun to use that Ive actually used plastic wrap in some non-optimal situations - separating tortillas prior to cooking on a griddle (instead of using was paper) and being confronted with a plastic-wrapped mass of 15 tortillas where I couldnt find an edge to separate! If you or anyone in your home struggles with plastic wrap (and who of us havent) I predict you wont regret it. I keep mine tucked away on my counter sitting on an end, always easily available yet taking up almost no space.

Tell it Like it Is
Greater than one weekI bought this during the pandemic because I could not find plastic wrap at the grocery store. I thought the container was bright and cheerful. I am not one to put a lot of things on my kitchen counters but thought this would fit nicely and, because of the design, could be left out. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. The plastic wrap is superior to the familiar national brands in regards to grip and thickness. My husband commented that he really liked this plastic wrap. I have never ever heard him comment before on plastic wrap, in 40 years of marriage. So, it must be good, right?

> 3 dayThis is not awkward like the disposable ones that come with the wrap sold in stores. My husband’s coordination is impaired from a stroke, and this prevents the wrap from tangling. One reviewer said that there are no instructions for attaching the cutter, but mine has them printed on the bottom, and on the top, it has a thin printed outline indicating where the cutter goes. It is the type of cutter that slides inside a track, with the blade safely hidden below the cutting knob. The box is made of heavy cardboard wrapped in glossy paper, much like some storage boxes or hat boxes. It comes with 250 feet of wrap, but I transferred my 11 1/2” x 100’ Saran Wrap roll into it. Inside this dispenser, that roll has about 3/4” of extra room on each end, but that doesn’t cause any problem. In my photo, I included a dollar bill and a clothespin for scale. Including the rubber feet and the cutting knob, the height is 3 1/8”. In length, it is 13 13/16” (just a tad over 13 3/4”) and fits in our small drawer. They sell refills too, but I wish the grocery store brands would offer just rolls, without the flimsy disposable boxes, to save on waste without having to get refills delivered. I also wish these were available in a smaller that just works with the grocery store product.

> 3 dayMy mother gave me Chicwrap a few years ago and Ill be honest, I couldnt understand why she was so pleased to be giving me cling wrap. But then I used it and I love it! Good quality packaging and strong plastic wrap. I now use the cling wrap to wrap a lot more than food because its so easy and works so well (like 4th decorations etc to keep them clean and organized). Anyway, I bought this one and sent to a friend in England because on a recent visit I watched her struggle with her usual grocery store cling wrap. Ive become my mother... sigh. Thanks Chicwrap!

> 3 dayThis is great, no more annoying box falling apart and trying to get the plastic wrap into the food and being more annoyed than successful. This just lets you pull it out and slide to cut. I wish there was a little tab to keep the cutter at the very end but thats the only improvement that I can see. Also if it was a more long lasting material it would be better but Im ok replacing when it eventually goes because it is incredibly helpful. But I knew the material before I bought it so I am happy. Just create a little tab to hold the cutter and it goes from 4.7 to 5 stars.

> 3 dayWhere has this product been all my life. The only minor issue I had as that the cling wrap isn’t as clingy as Press n Seal. But Press N Seal is very difficult to peel out of the package and even harder to cut. So, this product is much better to work with.
