> 3 dayI love this calculator. The size and weight is convenient enough that you can carry with you without being too overbearing or heavy. The calculator has all of the major functions that you need to perform everyday mathematical operations without graphic capabilities. The fact that this calculator is solar powered eliminates the need for batteries. Overall, this calculator is one of the best on the market.

> 3 dayI bought this because it is the only calculator that the GED allows you to use for the GED exams. I prefer having the physical calculator as opposed to using the virtual one on the exam. Learning how to use it effectively is very helpful, especially with the math exam. I used it most of the time whenever the my GED study book and test allowed. It cuts down on calculating time, which is important with the time limits.

> 3 dayThis is a very good calculator, for when I need to do my simpler calculations. (It is an alternate calculator for the Advanced Algebra and Trig class that Im taking). If you can afford the fantastic calcuator, though, I highly recommend the (currently over $100) graphing calculators, such as the TI 84 Plus C Silver Edition or any of the 83/84 family. They do all of the functions that this excellent calculator performs, and many more, such as graphing functions and creating tables from those functions. For the person who asks, If the Plus C is a five-star calculator, why didnt you cut the 30 down to at least four stars? my answer is simple. For the $10 to $20 range calculators, the 30XS is a five-star calculator For the $100 and up range calculators, the 84 Plus C is a five-star calculator, along with the HP Prime (which is also a five-star calculator). However, the latter, though better in some ways than the 84 Plus C, is not allowed to be used during some college exams. I have all three calculators.
