> 3 dayReplace a plastic model that over time the sun and winters make brittle. Hoping this one holds up better. 6 inch model was actually bigger than the replaced version but it is the right size for the need. Seems to turn smoothly. No instructions, not that you would need any but its designed that it does not matter which side is up or down. Photo on package could be better to answer that question. Plan to replace other end of the line with this one.

> 3 dayI had read reviews after I ordered these pulleys. I did wash all the machine dust off before installing them and they worked just fine. No residue has thus far been left on the clothes or line. The pulley operates very smoothly even with a heavy load of king size comforters. 4 stars is for needing the wash off.

> 3 dayThis pulley set is made the way things used to be, solid and well designed. There is so little friction on our clothesline now that it practically coasts along. My husband, a maintenance engineer for 40 years, was impressed by the quality of the pulleys, and I enjoy using them every time I hang out clothes.

> 3 dayI put up a clothesline with these pulleys, replacing some old, sticky, squeaky one. The bearings on these work smooth as butter, with a fraction the effort to shift a loaded line. Perfect!

27-10-2024We are in norcal and with all the power outages I figured I should have a clothesline up. Our generator will handle most of the house but not the dryer. I assumed this was priced for 1 pulley @ $22. One of the answered questions said this also. So I ordered 2. I mean what are you gonna do with 1? I get the box today and open it up and there are 4 pulleys in it. They are really great. Lightweight but beefy and ball bearings that spin easily. I havent put them up yet but decided to keep all 4. can always use an extra pulley. I will update if anything changes once I get my line up.

Greater than one weekOver the years we always purchased cheaper (non-ball bearing type) cloths line pulleys and without fail they would eventually wear down at the axle point and begin to seize up. Also, not to mention the very loud screeching that would emanate from the pulleys every time you put out and or pulled in clothes. This time we decided to spend a little extra and go with these pulleys. These things glide so smoothly, making it a pleasure to dry your cloths on the line. One suggestion though, since they do move extremely well, sometimes the cloths will wind up coasting down on their own as more weight is added to the line, so we just use a cloths pin and put it right at the pulley to hold things in place.
