I bought it for my in-laws as a Christmas present. They LOVE it! After one week of having it in their bathroom, my MIL told me that it was working wonders. They love it so much that I went ahead and bought myself one.

I do not care much for this product. I think I would have been more satisfied had I bought the regular plastic type. I do not understand the tilt!! Why the tilt? I find it uncomfortable and not sure it works because it tilts. Wish I had just returned it except that I had to put it together to find out that I am not impressed. Sorry.

Ive got Celiac disease & unfortunately go through periods wherein I spend more time than Id like on the toilet being in pain and uncomfortable. I got this so I could have support in both my en suite (where I use a plain old curved footstool that frankly I like better) and guest/main bathroom in my apartment. It was very easy to assemble and looks nicer than the plastic options, although Im not sure if its actually worth paying much more. (I do kinda hate that the logo is on it, as the one at Bed Bath and Beyond by the same brand does not appear to, because the brand name annoys me but I might just be a stick in the mud. Its not really a big deal.) Ive used both heights and prefer it lower, but the toilets in my new place sit much lower than Im used to and I believe lower than average. (Im a 164cm adult.) (Thats like, a little shorter than 55 for my fellow Americans.) This sounds fairly unenthusiastic but Im used to having toilet support due to a chronic autoimmune condition that affects my intestines, so let me just say: if you DONT have any problems, you should still buy one of these or something like it because theyre one of those things people just dont know theyre missing until they try one. I have never met anybody who regretted getting one of these things! Theyre great! As a bonus, your guests (when youre hosting guests again, because right now youre social distancing, correct?) with toilet-related medical issues you may or may not know about will no longer dread going to the bathroom in your house, and will be in a much better mood while visiting as a result. ;-)

I have the original SP and as with countless others, its transformed my time on the porcelain throne. Recently I added another bathroom to my house so it was time to order another SP. Went with this one because of the two height option feature and the nicer aesthetic. One big plus which I had not considered is it hides much better under the toilet bowl when not in use whereas the original SP still stuck out a lot. The drawback of this is there is less room for your feet, especially when using the taller height side. For me, its not an issue but I could see some people preferring the full footprint to rest their feet upon. I think the tradeoff of a better looking, more compact, and height optional model is worth the small sacrifice of less area for your feet. The other thing worth mentioning is you do need to assemble it. However it is extremely easy and the hardware is included (4 screws and an allen wrench). A nice detail added are little covers to insert over the screw heads to make them blend in more with the wood look. Assembly shouldnt take more than 5 minutes for even the least handy of individuals out there.

I found the fit and finish of the Bamboo FLIP Squatty Potty unit that I received mid-October 2019 to be good, and the assembly to be easy. The four major pieces were reasonably smooth with a bit more roughness on the edges of the two larger sides where they fit together once assembled. I did not encounter any problems with splinters. The screws supplied were adequate for the task of screwing the sides together; they were not high-grade fasteners however. The supplied hex-key wrench was also adequate but not high-grade. None of the fasteners required excessive torque; the two on the right-hand side of the taller platform side did require more torque than any of the others but it was still manageable with the supplied hex key wrench (using the longer side of the wrench to turn the shorter sides head inserted into the top of the fasteners). All of the holes for the fasteners lined up correctly. I followed the standard practice of only torquing the fasteners loosely until all were in place, and then performing a final tightening to finish putting the fasteners in their final positions. Once assembled, the Squatty Potty unit was sturdy enough for its intended purpose. There is a sticker on one of the sides (that is inside the assembled unit) warning against using the unit as a standing platform (stool), and it would clearly NOT be suitable as a standing platform based on the lack of support on all sides and the slope of the sides. It is more than adequate for the purpose of supporting ones feet and legs as indicated for the purpose of altering ones body posture while seated on a standard US plumbing fixture toilet. The short side varies in height from 6.5 inches to slightly over 7.75 inches. The tall side varies in height from 8 inches to just over 9 inches. The included instructions indicate that the correct position is with the platform surface sloping down away from the plumbing fixture (highest point closest to the plumbing fixture).

i really like that this can be flipped for different height toilets. my apartment right now has a higher seat, but if i move elsewhere i dont have to worry about it being the wrong height. my partner is also taller than me, so we can use whichever height works best for each of us. super easy to put together and it looks so much nicer than the plastic ones for just a few dollars more!

I have two of the original ones and while those work great, the white plastic doesnt exact look classy or premium. Im a fan of bamboo and the fact that this supports two different heights of 7 and 9 makes this a versatile option. Putting this together was simple enough with the included wrench and the instructions were simple to understand. My only negative feedback is that I dont particularly enjoy that the surface you put your feet on is slanted. This is a matter of preference of course, but I prefer my feet to be flat like they are able to with the original plastic version.

I love this product! I put it together with an impact driver while I held the pieces in place. This allowed for the proper fit and tightened to the perfect level. The only reason I did not give it five stars is that the caps to cover the screws wont stay put on all screws. I realized this was due to the drill hole depth on the wood pieces. If the depth is too low it will not hold.

This product is well worth the money; 5/5 stars. I also like how it can be set up for 7 or 9 off of the floor depending on which side is face down on the floor. (As shown in pictures)

Whats not to like about this product?! This thing is amazing. First of all, its easy to put together and very sturdy. Comes in two different heights and easy to switch from one to the other with just a quick rotation. It fits snuggly out of the way when not in use. The best thing about this though is that it has absolutely saved my marriage. My husband used to top out at an hour spent on the toilet pooping . Apparently, this squatty potty is a godsend. It has reduced his pooping time by at least half and now he can spend more time with the family and kids. He keeps talking about the angulation and how he doesnt have to squeeze anymore and I just take his word for that. Either way, this product does his job and makes life easier for me and my husband. Highly recommended!
