> 3 dayI bought a similar one from another manufacturer and found that the grips at the end of the arms were not long enough and my laptop tended to ride up on them. No problem with this one. Also, it assembles in seconds and is incredibly sturdy. Really happy with it.

> 3 dayI would like to give this 5 stars but the description is not entirely accurate. The make is great and great quality, but the “gold” color is not a true gold. It is more of a rose gold. The picture of the gold version on the site is way more yellow/brass than the real version. In the pictures I took you’ll see that compared to my desk’s gold knobs and a gold keychain, it’s not a “true gold.” I’m keeping it because it functions how it is supposed to but will likely replace once I find my preferred yellow/brass gold color.

> 3 dayThe metal feels and looks like a MacBook. I can’t say how well it will actually do against scratches, but it seems like it will do well, especially because I won’t move it often. It’s cold to the touch and has a good weight and texture. It’s three pieces (directions shown above) and while they take a small amount of wiggling to put together, they won’t come apart easily. There are pads on the bottom to keep it from scratching your desk. I was hesitant to purchase this, but as soon as I saw it in person, I knew I made a great choice. The silver looks great on my maple desk, although with this quality I could have ordered a darker color and have it pop.
