Greater than one weekIve been using this a lot this summer. The only issue Ive had is the two openings/holes at the top of the bladder it came with have broken. It just means that I cant use the two velcro strips to hold the bladder upright in the compartment. This has not affected performance of the bladder or pack, however. Bladder isnt leaking and no straps are frayed or showing signs of wear, and Ive taken it on two camping trips, countless hikes and random day trips this hot summer with my kid so we have food and, more importantly, water. Price is unbeatable for the quality of the product. In the past I had used a pack and bladder half the size of this one, but I was doing long distance and trail runs. I wouldnt run with this pack, too big. But its great for hiking, camping and fishing. Can fit food, water, medical kit stuff in it without any problem.

Greater than one weekI enjoy this pack. It is easy to fill and the water pouch is removable plus it has velcro straps so you can insert it into a Hiking Back Pack (if the pack can take one). I use this on my day hikes, there are zipper compartments for other necessities and two little net side pouches. The mouth piece is easy to use. I did have to rinse the water pouch with baking soda and water to remove the rubber/plastic taste. Very happy with it.

Greater than one weekThis is my absolute favorite Amazon purchase ever. It’s big enough to pack a change of clothes, snacks, miscellaneous emergency and first aid items, plus a full bladder of water, minimum. It has a million pockets and slots for organizing, plus a felt lined smaller pocket on top that was perfect for my cell phone. Many reviews stated that it’s not large enough, but unless you’re trying to pack for an overnight hiking trip, this is more than enough. But it’s also small enough to use for cycling/snowboarding/day use. I went on a 15 mile hike shortly after getting this bag, and of the few issues I had that day (frozen toes, mostly), the backpack was never any of them. I could hardly tell I was wearing it. The chest and waist straps are long enough for a husky man, so they are perfect over my winter gear.

> 3 dayLiving in Arizona having water readily available can be crucial to a persons health. I regret not buying this sooner. The quality of the materials are generally good. Well see how durable the shell is. The bladder is easy to clean with a large mouth, which also allows for lots of ice (a must!) Satisfied with its performance so far. Worth the price.

> 3 dayI absolutely love this hydration pack! It’s a really nice size and lightweight. I got to test it out today, was hiking and climbing over big rocks and there was no water leakage at all. Holds plenty of water for those long hikes. Love that I can carry snacks and protein drink as well. Has a little pouch for keys, phone, etc. plenty of storage for what I need. Sturdy little pack. Love it, would def recommend!

> 3 dayupdate: I have now used this pack four times and the stitching has not come apart, but it it obviously going to soon. It is disappointing because I always take care of my gear and never over fill the pockets. I broke down and bought an Osprey daylite plus. WOW, what a better quality backpack. This is a good pack, I am satisfied with it. This was my third pick before putting out big $$$ for a name brand which I did not want to do. I felt that none of the descriptions really met my needs to spend that kind of money. I had already returned a Teton (could not adjust the straps for my frame, they were too stiff and the chest strap would not tighten enuf). I also returned a Rumpumpak (it would not hold enough and I just didnt like it). But this one: PROS: 1. perfect size for keys, iPhone or gps, extras, lunch, sun screen, bug spray, toilet paper and stuff a small jacket in there too. 2. Bladder compartment has a reflective liner to try to keep the water cool as long as possible. 3. The straps adjust just fine, I am a female, 51, #140. The back does not sway on my back at all and does not seem to tug anywhere. 4. My back sweated some, but it was a 8 mile strenous hike, 95 degrees mostly in the sun. Overall it did well, my shirt was not drenched and i did not feel uncomfortable. Cons: 1. The bladder! Who would use a black or even green bladder is stupid. I would like to see inside to make sure it is clean and no floats. I put this one in the Goodwill and bought a Platypus (a product that I know I can trust). Plus I connected the hose to the bladder and it is WAY TOO DIFFICULT to disconnect. Life it too short. 2. There arent any attachment sites on the outside of the main pack. I fixed this by attaching those gear ties to the two straps on the side. They will work fine if I want to attach my jacket or a towel outside. My trekking poles can go into the mesh pocket and attach at the top with a gear tie. Im all set.

> 3 dayI have put this bag through it! After a year of amazing hikes, everything is holding up. I’m a small female and this pack fits like a glove. It can definitely be adjusted for larger frames, but finding something comfortable for small shoulders and a small waist can be challenging. This bag keeps my water cold, and holds my regular gear. Just to give you an idea of what this thing can hold, I typically pack a light jacket, gloves, a winter hat, a ball cap, emergency blankets, lunch, snacks, bug spray, sunscreen, and more. I have been rained on, and everything seems to stay dry. Major bang for your buck. Would buy again.

> 3 dayHappy enough, but 50 cents of more padding could have made a night and day difference. Not only is the padding really thin but its also the cheapest type of padding that crunches a lot and doesnt really work so well. However the material quality is decent. so Ill keep it I guess.
