> 24 hourI absolutely LOVE my vacmop. Most of my home is laminate flooring so there is always something to clean up (especially with a pet and a one year old). This is my go to, and I have many other gadgets,m including a dyaon, shark steam mop, and etc. You wont regret this purchase.

> 24 hour... for ongoing light duty, it does the job for me. If you have a lot of traffic which leaves a lot of dirt and debris on your wood/tile floors or you only vac and mop once a week or so, this probably wont do the job for you. However, if you do a light vac and perhaps spot mop every day, this is perfect. As a pick up the dirt, small debris and hair, daily, its great. As a quick clean up for that spill, its great. This is how I use mine. I use it in place of the dust mop I used to use daily, and I use it to quick mop the traffic areas, about every other day. I go over the entire floor dusting then come back and light mop, about 10-15 minutes. Toss the pad about every other day, after moping. I do not have kids but I do have 2 dogs and this keeps the kibble, dirt, grass and hair cleaned up. I still heavy duty vac and mop but now I think I will get by with an every other week routine, using this in between. It is super easy to get into small spots. You can use whatever cleaner you want. For $100, its a time saver. Well see how long it last but Shark products have usually held up pretty well for me. 4 stars for cost of pads only. Otherwise it does exactly what I wanted when I ordered it.

> 24 hourGood product for post dinner kitchen floor cleaning.. Really like the wet/dry combo. It is low capacity for dry stuff, but if you are creating such a big mess on the floor during cooking, I suggest you see a therapist :)

> 24 hourFirst off, I have a Shark Vacuum that has served me exceptionally well for 5 years now. I do take care of it and the fact is for carpet it is outstanding. I wash the filters frequently and replace the filters from time to time when they seem to be less effective. You cannot beat it for carpet. Thank you Shark people! We recently moved to a home that has a conservatory that is carpeted and I have an area rug in the living room. The remainder of the home is hardwood floors and vinyl tile. While having that combination is a great addition to our lives, it does get soiled and needs cleaning with more than a vacuum. I studied the options and decided what is ideal for me. I am in my 70s but not a weakling, however vacuuming (the carpet vacuum cleaner is heavy for me, the wet mopping with a rag mop, and hauling a bucket of water is a huge challenge as I have about 1400 sq ft of hard floors. I wanted a light weight, no fuss alternative and by golly, this Shark light vacuum and wash is most efficient. I went to Shark first because I love the vacuum cleaner I bought 5 years The new Shark Wet/dry mop is a bit more expensive than the other brand on the market. But that is the only comparison with the other brand that the Shark light vac/wet mop does not win. I mean it folks, this light weight battery-operated product is right there ready to go in my kitchen, its easy to use, its efficient and I can clean right when the mess is made with NO HASSLE. I highly recommend it. There is no cord to struggle with, it charges easily in about four hours, and can do about half of the hard floor in my house at a time. Frankly, if you follow the instructions word for word you simply cannot lose. It has no moving parts. The only thing you need to replace are the cleaning pads. They have a built-in vacuum compartment in the pad. You do not have to touch the dirty pads, there is an ejector. There is some critical points stressed in several other reviews that I found easy to avoid: 1. I cant get my whole house done on one charge. Ans: As you learn what works best for you, youll pick up speed. Or if you have a big house, you can plan to do the wet/dry cleaning over several days. 2. I forget to reorder the pads and cleaner. Ans: Use subscribe and save! 3. It leaves streaks of grit or whatever I am cleaning. Ans: Remember that you need to do the dry vac FIRST before you make the pad wet. If your floors are REALLY mingen (Scottish for filthy) you may have to change pads midway in the wet clean. You probably know ahead of time when your floors are extra nasty. Its also easy to take the wet/dry outside and run the pad over concrete to pull off excessive large dirt, hair etc. I also have a lab mix dog and she sheds all year long here in the South. This simple appliance picks up the fur completely on the hard floors. This is neat, lightweight and easily handled.

> 24 hourWe sure didnt expect to get the mighty mouse effort out of this little thing, we did get. Nice job, doesnt take up much space, power last pretty long time without recharging. My daughter likes it so much, she wants to buy another. I will say we used a water/vinegar combo. to better finish than the actual cleaner from Shark. But that is just our floors and our opinion. Great little appliance!

> 24 hourI have pets that are not always well behaved and they shed. Great for vacuuming around the litter box when they track the litter. Also good in the kitchen for getting around counters, table, etc. for crumbs, etc. My dogs leave wet paw prints and so easy to just spray and mop away. I have a large house and so I keep them in 3 different areas. I like the ones with the light so I can see under furniture. I like that they are rechargable so no cords to drag.

> 24 hourI normally love Shark Ninja products, but I wish I hadnt spent money on this cordless vacuum/mop combination. While it does vacuum small things such as crumbs and it does spray cleaning solution that can then be mopped up by the pad, it fails on so many other points that Im left disappointed. First, you cannot wet clean and vacuum at the same time. The vacuum trigger disables the spray mechanism, so if I want to use the solution, I have to vacuum the area before I clean. If Im going to make two passes, I might as well use a real vacuum, which sucks up more, and my Bissell SpinWave, which cleans better. This Shark Vacmop does not decrease the work of using two machines. For that reason, its better for touch-up than it is for thorough cleaning. I had hoped that it could save me time, but it doesnt. Second, the disposable pads hold both vacuumed debris AND the dirty, Swiffer-like pad. You cannot empty the bin without throwing away the pad, and you cannot replace the pad without throwing away the whole thing. Unless you want to start cleaning with a dirty pad, youll have to replace after every use. And if Shark stops producing the disposable pieces, Ill be stuck with a useless VacMop. Third, the VacMop does not stand up on its own. It either has to be propped up against a wall or hung. Fourth -- and another reason this is good for touch-up only, not serious cleaning -- the battery charge lasts about 15 minutes. Usually, thats plenty for me to clean my kitchen floor since only the vacuum and the spray mechanism require power, making the actual cleaning power-free. But I dont like that I can only clean one room at a time. But there is some good that comes with this Shark VacMop. The cordless design is convenient, especially if you have a way to charge it while it is stored. (I have to lay mine out on the floor to charge since it doesnt stand upright and since I dont want to mar the paint on my walls.) It works as well as a Swiffer wet mop, but with the addition of a vacuum. The included cleaning solution doesnt leave a film on my hardwood floors, and it seems to clean them pretty well. My Bissell SpinWave does a much better job at actual cleaning since this VacMop doesnt have any moving parts, but for what it is, the VacMop works well. I like that this Shark VacMop can provide a no-frills touch-up to my kitchen floors, but Im disappointed in the cost of replacing the bin/pad after every use and the need to make two passes, one to vacuum and one to mop. I had expected it to do everything in one go. Even though I ordered more pads, Im not sure how long Ill stick with this before I decide to give it away. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann
