PS5に使用してますが、全然いいと思います。

表題の通りです。VAIO S15 ALLBLACKEDITIONで使用しました。最初はシリコンパワー SSD 1TB 3D TLC NAND M.2 2280 PCIe3.0×4を使っていましたが4K MKVファイルをサイバーリンクのPowerDVD20で再生するとほぼ確実にブルースクリーンが出て再起動がかかり、何度もOSが破壊されてその都度USBで回復せざるを得ない状況に困っていました。最初はビデオ周りかと思ってIntelから最新のディスプレイドライバーを拾ってインストールしましたが状況は変わらず、そこでまさかと思い本製品と取り換えたところ4K MKVファイルは安定して動作しましましたが動画配信サービスの「SHOWROOM」「ニコニコ動画」「Amazonプライムビデオ」を数分再生すると何故か落ちるようになって本当に困りました。が、ある日突然何もしていないのに全ての動画配信が安定して再生できるようになりました。なのでなぜ安定したのかはナゾです。シリコンパワー SSD 1TB 3D TLC NAND M.2 2280 PCIe3.0×4の動作温度はアイドルで29度くらいだったのに対してこちらの製品はアイドルでも35度、動画を再生すると42度くらいに上がりますが耐久性にはそれほど影響するほどの温度ではないかなと思いますがまだ使い始めたばかりなので耐久性は不明です。起動時間は本製品とシリコンパワー SSD 1TB 3D TLC NAND M.2 2280 PCIe3.0×4では体感的にはあんまり変わりませんでしたがベンチにかけるとシリコンパワー SSD 1TB 3D TLC NAND M.2 2280 PCIe3.0×4は1900くらいだったのに対して2800くらいになりましたのでノートパソコンにしてはいい値だと思います。今度はクラッシュせずに願うしかありません。安定して長持ちするのを期待するばかりです。また何か変わったら追記します。

I bought this SSD as a boot drive for my recent build. 512GB is a perfect size to install Windows on, as the base Windows installation only takes ~50GB (probably less, too lazy to check) leaving you with a ton of free space to install frequently used applications or smaller games on that would benefit from fast loading times. Wish it was a little larger in capacity, as the larger the SSD the faster the speeds, but its a Gen 4 SSD which is miles better than select Gen 3 SSDs and is also 1000x better than the 7200RPM HDD I previously used.

I do Chia plot on this, 6 plots job will slow down the finish time on 2tb version. better to get 1tb and raid 0 on it to achieve better speed.

Found this to be best price per TB after the markdown. Reviews also showed this to be best performance for the PS5. Install for the expansion was quick and simple. Definitely a hefty M.2.
