15-11-2024So far Ive had zero issues with this drive. I purchased to store video clips and other info to free up space on my Macbook Pro. Its super handy and I tug it around in my backpack and camera bag with ease. I may upgrade to the TB version in the future, but for now, this handles all of my needs. It runs my video projects without any issues in Final Cut Pro.

Greater than one weekDo not buy this product for use with mac OS time machine. It must be reformatted and cannot be used out of the box. This should be clearly noted in product promo and on package, but is not. I bought this 2T Extreme Portable SSD for use as a backup for my new MacBook Pro 16 and am not looking for extra work!
