Yes, to confirm what someone else said here, it *can* work, but with a caveat. Thunderbolt 2 will not power the drive, but if you have something like the CalDigit TS3 Plus Thunderbolt 3 Dock, connected via the Apple Thunderbolt II->III converter, so the Dock can provide power to the drive through its USB-C connection, the drive will show up on your older Mac. Not everyone will want to do that, but it works on my 2015 iMac.

Ottimo hd esterno, veloce leggero, nella confezione presente, oltre al cavetto, anche un adattatore da usb-c ad usb 3 per macchine non dotate di usb-c.

me imagine algo grande por las fotos, pero me gusto mucho que sea compacto, tengo instalada una maquina virtual y me va muy bien, el cable es un poco rígido, muy parecido a los que trae la Dell USB Tipo C docking station. No se mucho de detalles técnicos avanzado pero me va muy bien, y responde muy rápido ya que también lo uso para trabajos remoto

Bei meiner Festplatte würden von Anfang an nur 460gb angezeigt. Anfangs rasend schnell und nach zwei Tagen Nutzung schrieb sie nur noch mit maximal 150mb/s. Für den Preis absolut nicht akzeptabel. Alle Angaben beziehen sich auf Die Nutzung an einem MacBook Pro 15“ 2018.
