Load times on games are faster. Not as hot as I assumed it would get originally.

It is plug and play. I dont have any trouble getting Windows 7 or Windows 10 to recognize it. I most commonly use it on Dell and Asus laptops. Have had no problems with corrupted data. Data transfer is quick and flawless.

This device is compact, sleek, very easy to setup and would be 5 stars however. 2 things drag it down. #1 It stops being detected randomly every few times I restart or boot up my computer. Not consistently though.I have even wiped the ssd to try and clear it. Which leads me to #2. Samsungs own software cant wipe this drive you need 3rd party software for some unknown reason. Its kind of hilarious since this is their flagship super travel drive that their custom drive wiping software doesnt work on it. Otherwise, if you dont have the disconnect issue this travel drive cannot be beaten for price to performace and quality.

Having waited for 2 months for Samsung to patch their software due to MAC OS Catalina update, I still cant get me data off my 3 disks. I have learned my lesson and dont intend to repeat. Why they mandate their own security software versus others, like western digital and others, that offer the ability to do so at the users end is beyond me. More importantly, I was a fool for getting enamored by the small size (which is really nice). That said, I would rather be able to use my own drive to store things without waiting for their smart teams to recode things while I sit and wait. This will happen again so beware of what you sink your money into with Samsung T5.

Using it for video storage. SSD is always ready and quick access no matter how far I dig in the files.

Thank you to tech-support for honoring my issue. My first SSD card crashed a brand new PlayStation Pro And then failed to connect. A replacement SSD was swiftly sent out and I will continue using Amazon as a go to consumer product platform.

Lighting fast on game startup and loading screens on xbox one s. I beat my friends that are on xbox one x.

The unit performs very well. Transfer rate is very good: in the 360 Gbps range for my system. Just have to get used to no defragging the drive as it is not necessary or beneficial on a SSD.
