My son loves this

Used for video capture/editing. My macbook only has a 500gb internal SSD, so I bought a 1TB. This drive will record 3 streams of 1080i Quicktime 4:2:2 SpeedHQ video over USB3 from Tricaster. It’s also super portable and I don’t have to worry about it getting knocked off the rack.

Bought to back up important information. Worked out of the box. Fast and portable. Carry in my backpack with no problems so far.

great hard drive for the money

I spent maybe 3 hours trying to figure this out! I actually sent one back because I thought it was broken when it was really the poor Samsung software. I had to go on my computer then go the windows search menu ---- type in partition to get the create and format hard disk partition then I found the drive (which wasnt showing up in my PC window but I could see it as a disk here) then had to delete the volume (only option when right clicked) then I could finally add a new volume and correctly format it! Seems okay once it started working

A little bit more expensive than its competitors but well worth it.

Drive arrived in UN-opened box with all seals intact. It worked fine when pugged to 3.2 plug on computer.
