Formatting this to use through the Time Machine app for my Mac was easy!! Select the drive and allow Time Machine to formate for backups. Done!

It is fast.

I like the portability feature, though it will mostly stand in as backup on my desktop. Nice to be able to take it with you wthout having to hunt for a large-enough thumbdirve.

Im a videographer I use this for my black magic cinema camera 6k it’s easy to use and easy to drop info off as well. Just unplug from camera and plug to computer while still mounted on the camera.

I bought this because other reviews said the SSD would hold PS5 games but that is #fakenews. It does work with the PS5 but it only hold PS4 games!

I was totally happy with my first one, and ended up purchasing two more for movie making and music videos.

This is very small and is much smaller than I had anticipated but it plugged in and it works and is a great backup

Super fine

This drive gave me read / write speeds only around 40MB/s...not the 550MB/s advertised. It took me over 6 hours to copy my files back from the drive. DO NOT BUY!!!

Samsung makes the best SSD’s on the market. This external SSD isn’t just compact and quick, but it also comes with security software that features hard drive encryption via a password. Great product!!
