I wanted to wait a little before writing a review. This little drive is awesome. Super fast, super compact.

Inevitably media can and will fail one day no matter how well or poorly made. Always have disaster recovery options.

when it comes to storage you cannot ask for more to be honest compared to its size, 2T with this size is amazing. no regrets, if your looking for portability and storage capacity. then go with Samsung T5.

Product reliability is terrible. Product was only used as a back-up drive. Even tried to reformat to get it to work and that didnt help! I should have stuck with my WD external drive. Had it for years and never a problem. I wanted new technology and I paid the price!

Lightning fast SSD drive, upload and download is super fast. Plus you can even connect it to your phone to transfer files off of your phone. I highly recommend getting one, especially if you travel and take lots of pics. recommend it if youre looking for good reliable storage.

Its crazy fast but it can get warm so keep it cool it will treat you very well, works great for gaming by the way had mine almost a year still running good as day one, easy set up like under 30 seconds

How come weve never thought of this before!

T5 was manufactured on 1/17/20. Catalina was released last October. Why is Samsung selling T5s with software that does not work. They have had over 6 months to get this right.

I am really happy with this 2T SSD external Hard Drive, it is fast and time saver I had to recopy 5 T from another backup disk, that accidentally formated, the 5T original data was recovered by I had to transfer to another Disk.
