Purchased 19 months ago and have loved it... when it works its great. Lightweight and fast. So thats also the problem. You rely on it more and more and more until one day after days of editing with Final Cut Pro my MacBook makes a swooshing sound and restarts. From that point on no data on the drive can be read. Plug the drive in and swoosh then reboot. Did I mention its at the worse time. So disappointing.

I have 6 of these things and have never had a problem. Super fast! To avoid having issues, make sure to format the hard drive as soon as you get it.

I love this drive. Its a little frightening that something so small could be so valuable! Dont lose it.

Reliable and fast. I edit 4K video straight from the T5 as my working portable drive and use external HDD as backup. The T5 is the fastest and best value for the money I’ve found.

Works better than expected. Extremely fast for copying media and I can easily edit all formats directly from this drive (Red, C200 Raw, Pro Res 4444).
