> 3 daySmaller than platter based hard drives. Smaller than 2.5 SSDs. Very easy to slip in a pocket. Came with 2 cables to use with USB-Type A (3.1) and USB-Type C. Read and Write speeds both nearly identical in the upper 300s (MB/s). Im quite pleased with it.

13-11-2024This portable SSD is great. It is very small in size (smaller then typical internal SSD harddrive). One thing to be careful of is if you are using this to store files that you want to backup to time machines. The drive comes formatted in ExFAT. Time Machines will automatically flag this drive not to backup and will have it grayed out so you cannot remove it from that. If you reformat the drive to an Apple format you will then be able to remove the portable drive from the do no backup folder list in Time Machine. Other than that small quirk the drive is great. It is small, speedy, with plenty of space.
