This is the second external drive I bought for my Xbox one the first one being 4 terabytes but a large bulky drive with its own external power source and not a solid state drive. This one was half the capacity for twice the money what is solid state which I do notice the difference in loading speeds and a super small a compact and does not require its own power source.

I was not happy to see product arrive in an opened box. The seal was broken. I paid for a new one. It works. I hope it stays that way.

I got this to augment the onboard drive on my MBP. The USB C connection is what really sold me. I looked at dozens of others and even though they say USB C - they just include a USB 3 to USB 3 adapter so you arent really getting the USB C.

the storage of 1TB is good, but the speed is extremely slow, about 20MB/second (regardless of the file size that Im coping)

THIS ITEM NEEDS TO BE TAKEN OFF AMAZON as it is NOT a Samsung drive. Many other reviewers have mentioned it and here’s my story. The port came loose on mine and I called amazon for help. They completely disowned me and said I need to talk to Samsung as they support warranty. Called Samsung and they verified that this drive is from Korea and so the warranty will not be valid in the US. I wasted days back and forth between amazon and Samsung only to give up and buy a lacie. Be very very careful with these drives. Amazon is using a 3Rd party supplier to buy these drives cheap and then sell them here. I don’t have time to sue them but I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to sell drives on a US retailer that do not have local warranties. Pray that your drive works coz neither amazon nor Samsung will take responsibility for it.

Great for when you have the frame on your rig so your not fighting with doors

I have purchase two of these, and they are much faster and less prone to braking then standard mechanical hard drives.

I keep thousands of pictures of my shoes on this little drive. I only have one pair of shoes, mind you but I like to take interesting pictures of them wherever I go.. the stores, the cemetery, the courthouse, the park - you name it, my shoes have been there. My shoes have their own social media feeds but still no followers. But we have high hopes. Last night when we were sitting down to dinner, my left shoe told my right shoe that she thinks follower number one is on the horizon. My socks agreed. I ate pudding. It was a wonderful time.
