Greater than one weekRead the reviews T7 is twice the speed of the T5 and that was previously the king. The T7 form factor is sleek, small, and feels like quality. Performance is so fast. I backup my phone physically... 60gb in a few minutes . I have one for my tesla sentry cam too. do not buy regular price its on a good sale all the time... but do get it.

> 3 dayWell designed and compact hard drive, with two different cables it is easy to use. Could do with a case but thats a minor point.

> 3 dayPurchased for my Tesla’s inboard dash cam. Did the job without a hitch and sleek and easy to use. Never buying a Tesla again cause they tried to pull one over on me but this SSD was great if you need it for your dash cam!

> 3 dayFrustrated when my previous external hard drive told me it would take 6 more hours to do an incremental backup, I decided to the my new Samsung and what a great idea that was--the backup of more than 1 TB was done, it seemed, in no time at all--maybe 2 hours? I had already ordered another for a separate purpose, and wanted to let you know the speed and durability of the SSD make a huge difference. Yes, its expensive but I got what I paid for. What a relief.

Greater than one weekBought this two years ago and it has worked fine for transfers that dont use the max throughput. When used to transfer files with machines that can accommodate the max throughput of the T7 it suffers random disconnects. I dont know if this is related to the overheat issue that is reported elsewhere. Regardless, it means the only way I can use this device is to somehow throttle throughput on my high-end machines or not use the T7. Stupid. I will not be buying this again.
