Died after 13 months, using to record a Telsas dash cam / sentry mode. Sure thats moderately harsh conditions in the heat and recording a few video streams for 2 hours a day.... but wow it should last longer. No computers or the car recognize it plugged in. No support, just its out of warranty.

The type c cable was missing, so I ended up having to find and buy one to use it. No instruction manual or info booklet came with it- was literally just the SSD in its box.

I am not a Samsung person but wanted to give it a try. I am amazed at how fast and quiet this SSD Drive is. Will purchase more to store my Xbox Series S games and other files.

UPDATE March 29, 2022: It has now been a year and a half and it’s still going strong. I have it hooked up to my PS5 to play my PS4 games and it runs flawlessly still. This was a great purchase.

This is my 2nd Samsung SSD purchase. Very well made and useful product. It also comes with necessary cables.

M1 cant detect T7

I bought the 1 TB to expand my storage space without anything invasive. Not only is the Capacity good(979GB) but Its also fast and stable enough to play games so I set it up as a secondary Steam Drive. I was leary about getting another portable SSD since the last one I bought was basically a Glorified USB Flash Drive with more space than you could ever fill due to its snails pace speed. It loved getting corrupted while choking on very basic files at 10 MB/s as well. Im glad this one runs so splendidly cause I wasnt sure if it was the USB-C drive on my PC or the previous SSD. It was the first time I used either of them. Glad I decided to try one more time but with a well-known brand. Seemed kinda expensive at first but seeing what it can do has erased any doubt that it was worth every penny. I was content with the copy rate and still am but the fact it can handle my games was a shocking surprise to me. I was expecting my Steam Drive setup to fail in some way but it went over well, thought for sure any base game would run slow but none have, thought for sure applying mods was a terrible idea but it also turned out to be no problem. Super happy with the purchase so far :)

After using 2 days it was getting disconnected. Then I clam the replacement and the 2nd one is also getting disconnected as the 1st one.

As someone who creates online content to support my business I needed a reliable SSD for production purposes and this product is one of the best I have found in this price range
