I bought the SSD in hopes the Samsung software would be able to clone my current drive but it sadly failed miserably. Wasted hours trying to clone my old SSD but until I move on to a third party software.

Games definitely load much faster, storage is actually more like 920 GB, for 100$ not a bad upgrade for a laptop, would reccomend

My old HDD in my laptop was starting to die so i bought this in order to replace it. The computer did not recognize it but the software from Samsung showed that is was installed. You have to format it by setting up a new volume within disk managment and then set it up to a MBR disk and from there dynamic. Only then will the drive show up in my PC. The Samsung Data Migration software was still unable to clone my old drive so i had to decrypt my drive and disable my anti virus software. ONLY THEN did the transfer start. I have no idea how long it took as i left it overnight. This entire ordeal with the troubleshooting and all took over 12 hours. But in the end it was well worth it as i not only saved my data, but now my computer boots up in less than 5 seconds whereas before with the old HDD it would take over a minute. It runs very smoothly for me but getting to this point was an ordeal i would rather not do again.

Great upgrade from my last drive. Made my laptop run like new. Super easy to change if you have some know how and a youtube tutorial.

This is my first M.2 drive so I learned a little bit on the install as its a little different then other drives. Have been really really happy with it. Load times are blistering quick, even for graphically demanding games, and for the price I felt like I got a lot of storage for the money. I have another M.2 slot, when I fill this one up ill probably buy another one.
