> 24 hourThis was not the most straightforward install, so here are the steps I took. Hopefully this will help someone else and save time and effort.

> 24 hourNot sure why peeps are still buying the 970 Evo Plus, when this usually 40-50 dollars cheaper. You’re getting almost the same speeds and same reliability, have had mine in my new system with a 5600x and 3070, and it’s been amazing, nothing to complain about. Even YouTube videos show that the 980 and 970 Evo Plus are almost identical.

> 24 hourPackage looked unopened. Drive had all the Samsung stickers (1TB) so I Installed it in a brand new gaming computer. Bios said it was Vaskey V820/60 (60 GB). Went to box store and purchased the same part and tried again. Bios then reported the correct drive, so I can only conclude somehow the product got swapped before it got to me.

> 24 hourThese are super easy to install, and after going from an HHD to an m.2, I definitely wont be going back! Installation times of games take a fraction of the time, and its so nice to be able to install a game and play it generally within half an hour! (depending on internet speed, of course)

> 24 hourIt is on the mid to bottom end or the performance spectrum. I have found Samsung SSDs to perform well enough for my applications and to be very reliable.
