> 3 dayIts a good drive that can go up to 3.3 gb read and 2.7 gb write, provided that I was in standard mode using Samsung magician. It loads games pretty fast along with transfer speeds. The storage wasnt exactly 1000 or 1024 gb but 931 gb when installed but it isnt that bad as it seems to be the standard. So dont expect to get 1000gb. It is easy to install if you have the necessary screw for the SSD and precision screwdrivers.

> 3 dayIve had a number of Samsung SSDs in both SATA and NVMe formfactors. They always work out of the box, and continue working for years. I just received this one today, and the experience putting it into use was painless. Ive got several that have been in daily use for several years, and so far, not one failure or problem ever encountered.

> 3 dayRead a review on here that said it worked great for the PS5. Im not exactly super tech savvy, so I figured it was great and I would get it. After installing it and seeing it wasnt working. I seen that possibly it was the Pro version and maybe someone wrote the review on the wrong product. Regardless, NOT FOR PS5!!

> 3 dayThe Samsung 980 SSD is kind of interesting, because it lacks the EVO and PRO labels, and apparently, it is also DRAM-less. For most casual users and even gamers, this doesnt really matter. As evidenced by the attached CrystalDiskMark screenshot, this drive is fast, and it has a 300 TBW endurance rating, which is pretty standard and should last most people a long time. If you have an older SSD from 2015 thats still kicking, then 300 TBW is probably going to be fine.
