> 3 dayIt is on the mid to bottom end or the performance spectrum. I have found Samsung SSDs to perform well enough for my applications and to be very reliable.

> 3 dayMy laptop is a 2017 Acer Predator. The original drive was only 256Gb and needed an upgrade. This installed with no issues and is faster than the original. No complaints. It will extend the life of my laptop for another year or two when the outdated video card will require an upgrade.

> 3 dayAlthough i read this drive does not need rapid mode, samsung will tell you that magician software works with all smasung drives. They leave out that not every feature is operational with every drive. Two benchmark mark tests, with performance chosen as the m.2 setting of this drive yielded results far less then my 860 evo 500 gb ssd on a i7 4770k. i dont get it. By the way, this m.2 drive was tested in my acer nitro 2021 version with the i5 cpu on battery for one test and plugged in for the other. That matters, i think, because performance window in task manager shows the cpu overclocked to 4.1ghz plugged as opposed to 3.2ghz on battery. Thought it would make a difference but made none at all. So i dont know what to say except it works, but not the numbers they say, 3500mb, laughable at best.

> 3 dayMy computer already had a small Intel Rapid Storage Tech board in it so Windows boot up speed did not change but I had larger softwares that I wanted to load faster. Using this as the boot drive and original HD as storage drive so worked out well.
