Got this to replace my 870 QVO drive which had notorious write speeds after the cache ran out. This was a massive upgrade. Yes this is DRAM less, but due to the NVME I am still getting good speeds, Crystal diskmark gives me 3400/3500 read, and 2900/3000 write. Its a 5 star drive but the ASIC chip runs warm, like 100°C+ warm, while doing a benchmark on the drive. I dont know if this is safe, but will be putting a heatsink on it.

Works as advertised! Speeds may be a little off but, Im not running in a lab with perfect conditions. For my gaming and Livestreams needs, its perfect!

Compre el disco duro como adicional para una laptop Alienware, es facil de instalar y no necesita algún disipador de calor, en el tiempo que llevo usandolo, la experiencia ha sido buena, la escritura y lectura es bastante buena, para los que quieren comprar este disco, tomen en cuenta que es 2280, ya que en la descripción en ningún momento menciona este punto.

Start of our build Asus TUF, 301 tower, Z590 plus board, water cooling, 750 power, I9 10 core, 3060 rtx 12gb. Will buy more Samsung but will go pro.

The SSD performs great and was very easy to install. Not the drives fault but the cloning software from Samsung didnt format the old drive after transferring so It made it kinda a pain to get my OS to boot off the new drive and not the old one so I could format it myself. Other than that though 10/10

Far better than any 2-1/2” ssd

Sequential read is 3.2GBps, sequential write is 2.1GBps. Random read/write is slower, of course. Its recommended to install Samsung Magician software. It upgraded the SSD firmware and set 10% of the drive for over provisioning.

Very excellent performance for the price!

It could be a little less expensive.
