I purchased this SSD for my desktop, I own a business and am a graphic designer. I needed a drive that could handle the software programs I use for my trade as well as the storage for the multiple revisions of work I do

Love this for my PS5. Installation was a breeze and within about five minutes I was up and running with 2TB more storage in my PS5. Cant remember the exact figure my machine gave me when it tested the drive after formatting, but it was over 6000 MB/s, just cant remember anything after the 6 :) Wish Id snapped a pic of the speed.

After purchasing a PlayStation 5 console at the end of 2021, it became apparently very quickly that the internal storage was going to be used up rather quickly. I waited a while for prices to drop, as at the time of purchasing the console, this 1TB NVMe drive was closer to $200, which was a little out of reach for me.

The drive failed within less then a year of purchase. I understand hardware can fail. My issue comes with the lack of customer service on this. I first had to mail the drive to Samsung. I then waited for almost a week with no updates available as the website tracker doesnt update so I called again. The rep told me a replacement drive had been ordered but they could not provide me with any tracking status and transferred me to the department that could provide me the status. Unfortunately I was on hold for over an hour and no-one picked up my call and I had to hang up. I then received an email stating the drive was going to be replaced and that the drive had been ordered and once the service department received it they would then ship it to me and I could get tracking details. After waiting 3 days for with no update I called yet again and they again could not provide any update. At that point requested a refund so I could purchase an WD drive knowing their drives are generally very reliable and in the event one of their drives does fail you have a new drive within a couple days. I have no doubt this drive itself is probably a very good drive and I just happen to get a bad one, that happens but when the customer service is the opposite of customer service I cant recommend this drive or Samsung for this reason. I have had a couple WD drives fail me in the past and they immediately send out a new drive provided the failed drive is under warranty and provide you a timeline to return the failed drive or youll be charged. Very easy and great service, you can have a replacement drive within 2 days and be back up and running. Unfortunately Samsung doesnt value their customers enough to provide actual customer service. Im now on 2 weeks without my PC due to this and Im on hold with Samsung attempting to get a refund while writing this review. This is beyond a joke and unacceptable for a company like Samsung. I will never purchase another drive from Samsung. I will update this review after Im done being on hold for however long and whatever whoops I have to jump through to get this resolved.

Bought to upgrade my laptop. It would be nice to know that in order to do that a ssd enclosure needs to be available. I dont mind paying for it but it was frustrating finding tout after receiving the product.

I was wondering if this installation would be complicated or if the reviews online were used to this type of work. I found it extremely easy to follow the instructions on YouTube. For my first time adding this memory to my PS5 it took me about a minute to do it. And the time that the video lasted. This is an easy upgrade to do.

Just as previous generation nvme drives, these perform as anticipated. No complaints, Samsung quality is always high. I also see improvements in gaming performance compared to the factory drive in my laptop.
