There are other drives that offer similar performance for cheaper (the XPG Gammix S11), but this is basically the fastest drive on the consumer market. You get Samsung quality/reliability and worry free operation. Its really fast. Have I mentioned how fast it is? There are plenty of Crystal Disk Mark results already loaded so I wont bother uploading mine, since they are basically the same. Im not taking a star off for the price, but I do wish it was a little cheaper, which makes the XPG Gammix S11 such an enticing option. However, for some cases I recognize that the extra reliability from the Samsung makes the price worth it.

Amazing SSD for for the bigger games. Load times are insanely quick and I often find that the write speed is faster than my download speeds so it usually has to wait for the download itself to catch up. Otherwise, post download, this SSD is Best in Slot.

Samsung makes one of the best SSDs out there, so the 970 EVO plus M.2 is one of them. Easy to install, fast, and reliable.

My original C: drive was getting maxed out to the point I had to do something. I did some research, and opted to go with the 1T 970 EVO. After ghosting the original drive on to the new 970, I pulled the old one out and installed the new one.

Its a great drive. Not balls to the wall on speed or capacity; I have a few of these both the M.2 and 2.5 SSD. Yet to have one die, or even give me warnings.

Coming from a regular laptop hdd to this and is so fast at everything, easy to install and speeds are insane definitively gonna buy again when storage runs out

Its a great addition to my gaming PC and really gives me a good storage device for all of my games. Load times were made practically non-existent.

It drains the battery from 100% to 20% overnight with out using it. Speed it very good.

Boot times are ridiculously fast. I selected this for my first ever PC build and I was blown away by how fast I can get to my Windows 10 Pro desktop compared to the laptops Ive been using for most of my life (this is my first PC build and also the first time Ive used a desktop in probably 25 years). I dont have a super fancy CPU (Ryzen 3 2400g) and I only have 16gb of RAM installed but I can turn on my PC and within 10 seconds Im at my desktop screen. Im impressed. I also LOVE that it installed right onto the board and thus eliminates some of the clutter thats so obnoxious when building a PC. Cant wait to see what the future holds!
