Had two die in under 2 years. Not impressed at all.

Installed 2 of them in my Mac Pro 5,1 2012 system. They work flawlessly with no issues. They are very fast !!!

The Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD 500GB - M.2 NVMe card is a great upgrade for M.2 capable PCs. If you want to give your older PC a speed boost, and if your PC has the proper motherboard that has the card interface, it would be a nice upgrade. I migrated my WIN10 OS card, I also upgraded my DRAM and my old DELL XPS was brought back to life. It is speedy, it doesnt hang up when running my computer graphic programs. Great upgrade for the money!

Although its not a budget product, you cant expect cheaper price for this performance though. Benchmark results are in the attached photo. There would almost be no need to use a RAM cache if you go for this product.

The 500 GB Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVME M.2 SSD card was just what I needed. My old 256 GB Samsung SSD card used as the C-drive in my PC had filled up. To clone my old SSD to my new one, I used a Sabrent USB 3.2 SSD Type-C enclosure with an Amazon Basics USB 3.1 gen 2 USB-C to USB-A 3 meter cable, since my PC doesnt have a USB-C receptacle and only has one M.2 slot. The Samsung Data Migration software didnt recognize the SSD on the Sabrent device, so I used Macrium Reflect (free version) to do the cloning. It worked well and was fast. Be sure to specify a larger (max) size C-partition, otherwise you will get one the same size as the old C-partition and wont benefit from the larger SSD. After cloning the old SSD onto the new one, I replaced the old SSD in the PC with the new EVO Plus model. Now I have 464 GB C-drive instead of a 226 GB C-drive. It is no longer dangerously full.

This SSD is over 7 times faster than my SATA SSD. Amazing!

Very fast! So far very happy. Note it doesnt come with the screw to set it in, and the HP we were upgrading didnt come with one either. So, look it up first and order it.
