The upgrade improment was not worth the cost.. Programs that I use quickbooks, mailbird, excel , Adobe programs run maybe a little faster completely disappointed!

I benchmarked this SSD compared to my previous hard drive and lets just say this is an insane upgrade. I went from 100 MB/s to 3500 MB/s. My computer bootup went from 2 and a half minutes getting into the desktop, to about 6 seconds. Not only that but I used to have the infamous problem of 100% disk usage, and ever since installing this drive as my boot drive I have yet to see it. Now I check right after bootup and disk usage is at a healthy 6 or 7 percent. Really makes a grown man cry.

The Samsung Data Migration tool makes cloning hard drives a walk in the park! It even allocates the disk for you, so you dont have to do it yourself. Took me about 10 minutes to clone 136GB and install!

Works seemesly with a Macbook Pro mid 2014 with MacOS Catalina. Pretty easy installation, no need to update firmware or external case. Just plug and play!
