Love my new Samsung 1TB SSD. Popped it easily into an older laptop and now have much more storage.

Benchmark in pic is a bit lower that it should be but i had multiple programs as well as video running during the test to evaluate, so this was excellent performance to benchmark like this while being taxed by multiple other programs.

The Samsung (EVO) is a stable SSD brand for me! Consistently one of the best performance models (in 2.5 & M.2 form factors), always at a competitive price. This one does not disappoint as well in my very high-end laptop.

Recently theyve downgraded the performance of the 970 Evo Plus by replacing the components, so the quality and performance of the drive isnt as good as it was initially shown and advertised. I didnt find out about this until after I made my purchase but I dont like to support these practices.

Very happy with the Samsung EVO Plus NVMe SSD. From my experience with SSDs in the enterprise, this drive should last a long time. I am storing music and pictures on a pair of Seagate drives, but running the OS, LightRoom and On1 on this drive, have a crucial SSD running the rest of the apps and I have plenty of room to spare for future applications with performance needs in the future. I primarily got this for photo processing.
