Ive bought two of Samsungs SSD now, and they work great, without question-- However, the software they give you to back up your old hard drive REALLY didnt like my system for some reason, so I ended up using a free option to migrate everything.

I look for 2 things from an SSD - performance and reliability. Im willing to sacrifice some performance for better reliability. Samsung always delivers, and their free data migration app is the best for transferring an OS boot disk to SSD.

Since SSD drives where very expensive I waited to replace my main PC hard drive. The prices today are fair for SSDs. Bought the 2 TB SSD for my C: drive. As expected my PC boots very fast. Used Arconis True Image (2020 version) to image the new SSD and worked perfect. My drive box was sealed and the drive is authentic. Very happy with this purchase.

What Samsun doesnt tell you is that, beyond 72GB of SLC cache, this thing drops to its knees. 50MB/s for normal files and 100MB/s for very large files.

Its a Samsung SSD, it works, good price, and just buy and go.
