> 3 dayI have a Toshiba Satellite laptop that i bought in 2015. It was having some serious lag time doing anything. 30 seconds to open the browser? Yikes!

> 3 dayOk, this drive is going to take the place of my WD 4TB My Book external HDD. Ill have to go through and decide what I really want to transfer over since Im going from a platter style drive to an ssd. I got the 4TB since my fanless mini pc doesnt show it supporting anything bigger. Installing it would have been a breeze if it came with screws. Had to go to my local computer shop and they handed me a box with all sorts of screws and hardware. Found four that worked (and matched) and got it installed. Its quiet and fast. Since my mini pc isnt made for gaming, I gave this drive the benefit of the doubt and rated it 5 stars for gaming. Other than that, just had to search on how to get Win11 to initialize the drive and start using it.

Greater than one weekSO far so good. Seems very fast compared to the HDD it replaced.

Greater than one weekI was looking at this to get a complete price for an upgrade and forgot it in my cart, I ended up returning it (which is great with Amazon) but I do have a 2tb version in my current build and could not be happier with it. Use it 100% for storage but it has been great and have not had any performance issues.

> 3 dayThis device has all sorts of potential, but I was not able to use it for my intended purpose. My system was too old to allow it to be a boot drive, so I stuffed it into a clear USB 3.0 drive enclosure and use it as a storage drive.

> 3 dayI brought the 2TB version of this 870 QVO and immediately felt it was slower than all my other Samsung SSD.... then I did a benchmark and the write speed are pathetically slow... Using the same benchmark I did it with my other SSD drives like a EVO 860 etc and the write speeds are normal at 500MB/s etc comparable to the standard and the read speeds... but this 870 QVO has crazy SLOW write speeds!!! AVOID
