I needed an SSD because I always had a lack of storage. Buying and installing this did the trick. Its much faster than a generic SSD that I own. I install all my games on this, and the loading times are short!

Replaced my Dell Inspiron 5579 Hard drive with this SSD and it drastically sped the computer up. What used to take 1-1/2 minutes to boot up now takes about 15 seconds. Programs load almost instantly. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to upgrade.

Died without any warnings after about 8 months of being used for game storage, along with several 2 year old 860 EVOs that are still kicking long just fine.

Samsung SSDs have been premium products along with the stiff prices. So, I had to choose a less capacity or other brands such as SK hynix until now. This Samsung 1TB SSD price however was very reasonable that I purchased one to clone my Windows 10 PC. I especially liked the Samsungs sleek and free software tool for the SSD. Cloning, status monitoring and managements were all without any hitch.

Much better than the mechanical hard drive that came with my Dell Laptop. Speed is much better than mechanical.

Instead of buying another laptop I decided to upgrade the HP one that I already have for three years. It was the best decision I made between buy a new one and just do the upgrade. It was easy to install as well as transfer the data from my previous HD to my Samsung SSD.

Installed on my 2011 MacBook Pro. Replaced my 500gb hard drive. Install took 5min. Computer runs so much smoother now
